I took a photography class in 7th grade that introduced me to photography as an art. I learned how to develop my own film, create contact sheets and develop my favorite images into prints; I even had some time to teach myself Adobe Photoshop 5.0. Things have changed a bit since then and I have gone through quite a few digital cameras and regularly use Adobe Lightroom to edit and manage my shots. I'm now happily using my Nikon D40x and Canon SD750 to capture all of my scenes. I love the quality of the dSLR and the portability of the Canon point and shoot. I was running out of space on my free picasa web album so I have decided to make a switch. I like the interface and the fact that I can upload an unlimited amount of pictures. Great for saving all those pictures I shoot in the Nikon RAW format.
