    Have AOL, MSN, GoogleTalk, Yahoo, IRC, etc. accounts and want to use them all at once? Adium. Bonus is that it is has great skins that can be tweaked endlessly.

    I can't seem to remember most of what happens in my life so I thought I'd start writing some things down. viJournal Lite is the best free journaling application I have found.

    Don't let anyone ever tell you nothing good ever came out of France; Handbrake did! It's the best program out there that will encode your videos to be played on any device you can throw at it. Works great for encoding iPod compatible videos. Those without Leopard, early versions are still available for download here.

    I'm addicted to rating my music and this makes it easy. The rating is displayed in the menu bar and I can view/rate the song I'm listening to in iTunes. That simple. It has been updated since the last time I downloaded and looks to have some great new features.

    Ever just want to kill your DVD's? Me neither, I love mine. As a result, I like to watch them where ever I go. Use this to copy to your hard drive, then use Handbrake (see above) to put your movie into one file that plays nice.

    Sure, this one is pretty boring, but I use it all of the time to upload my pictures. Clean interface and easy to create new albums or add to old ones. I am a fan of Picasa Web Albums because it's simple. Even my grandma can view my pictures, which is exactly why I stick with it.
